Bayside Savings Bank serves as a “qualified intermediary” which facilitates tax-deferred real estate exchanges pursuant to Section 1031 or the Internal Revenue Code. In a 1031 exchange, the “qualified intermediary” is the party receiving the cash proceeds from the sale of the exchanger’s property and holds the proceeds in a qualified escrow or trust account until such time as the replacement property is purchased.
Bayside Savings Bank facilitates 1031 exchanges nationwide. We are a member of Federation of Exchange Accommodators. Our Exchange Fee is only $500 no matter what amount the exchange is. All interest earned goes to the Exchanger. We have 6 years experience in handling 1031 Exchanges. We can produce documents for your closing in less than 24 hours if needed.
